Hourly rate within Rutgers University:
- $300 dollars per faculty hour
- $80 dollars per student hour
- Fixed contracts (for long term, collaborative projects)
- Discounts (also some waivers) are available for students or faculty members who do not have any funding support
Hourly rate for other academic institutes:
- $350 dollars per faculty hour
- $90 dollars per student hour
- Fixed contract (for long term, collaborative projects)
- Limited discounts may be available for students or faculty members who do not have any funding support
Hourly rate for companies and industry:
- $400 dollars per faculty hour
- $110 dollars per student hour
- Fixed contracts (for long term, collaborative projects)
Depending on the scope of the project, the first consultation, per project and per client, may be free of charge up to a half (or one) hour.**
**May through August - The OSC is unable to offer complimentary service for clients. Payment will be collected at the time of appointment.
* The fees do include 5% overhead costs (for computing, essential copying and printing, etc. on machines in the department). The above rates are effective from September 1, 2023.
