Position Title: Teaching Instructor
The Department of Statistics and Biostatistics at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey (New Brunswick Campus), invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as a Teaching Instructor, beginning September 1, 2016. The position will be an academic year contract, with the possibility of renewal. Salary and title will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Statistics or related fields. Responsibilities include: Instructing six three-credit courses of under-graduate level statistics for the academic year as follows: teaching three three-credit courses in Fall 2016 semester and teaching three three-credit courses in Spring 2017. We are seeking a highly motivated statistics instructor with knowledge of effective assessment techniques. Experience in teaching at the college level or experience in working with diverse populations of students are preferred but not required.
