- I've updated the sas input and output for l11 to include polychoric

Prerequisites
960-484 is presumed. The text,
Devore and Peck (1997) Statistics: The Exploration and
Analysis of Data Edn. 3 (Belmont, CA: Duxbury Press) is a good start.
A course in regression is also presumed.
Other resources
- Introductions to sas and R are available.
- The death penalty data,
the purity data,
the oesophageal cancer data,
the Copenhagen housing data,
the eyesight data,
the lottery data,
the prostate data,
and the falls data for one of the homeworks.
- Other data sets can be found on the statlib web site.
- The British government
statistical website.
- The source code for the MLLSA program for latent class analysis is available.
You might also want the precomplied PC version; even if you don't use this,
you can rip out the example input file, as I did. The results I presented can be repeated by downloading a
gziped tar file , unzipping and untarring it, changing to the directory
that it creates, and typing "auto". This will automatically download the source code, and the PC archive with the examples,
edit the source code and the example file, configure and edit the code, and run the program.
- If you have a hard time reading the pdf files I put up,
and are using Windows, you might try downloading
gs5.50, a postscript reader that will also read pdf.
