Statistics and Biostatistics Graduate Program
The MS Comprehensive exam Part I, Theory, and Part II, Applied, will be giiven on Saturday, 12/5/09, 9:00AM-12 Noon in Hill 552, Busch campus. Each part will be one and a half hours. Please sign up for the exam in Hill 501 or call 732-445-2693. Deadline to file for the Jan. diploma is Jan. 6, 2010. Forms are online.

The following review sessions for the Master's Comprehensive exam will be offered :

  • Theory, Part I, Prof. Strawderman on Tues.,12/1/09-6:40P in Hill 552 , Busch campus.
  • Applied, Part II, Prof. Naus on Wed.. 12/2/09 in ARC 207, Busch campus.

We offer M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in statistics. Besides the regular M.S. degree in Applied Statistics, we offer a M.S. with specializations in Industrial Quality Management, Biostatistics, and Data Mining. We offer Fellowships and Teaching Assistantships to our Ph.D. students strictly on merit basis.

The employment record of Rutgers Statistics graduates is very good. Besides academia, our graduates have career opportunities in the fields of pharmaceutical research and development, telecommunications, educational testing, financial services, environmental research, imaging technology, actuarial sciences, quality management, and with various consulting firms.

Our degrees are awarded by the Graduate School-New Brunswick on recommendation of the Graduate Program in Statistics and Biostatistics.
