Tong Zhang I received my PhD degree from Stanford Computer Science in 1998. After graduation, I worked at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, New York, and Yahoo! Research in New York City. I am currently with the statistics department, Rutgers University. My research interests are machine learning, statistical and numerical computation, as well as design and theoretical analysis of statistical algorithms. I also have extensive large-scale data-analysis and statistical modeling experience, especially in text mining, natural language processing, search and various other web applications.
